Society works like a system-a system of interrelated components. When these components put in their efforts and augment each other's efforts the final goal in the direction of progress and development of society is achieved. The components here connote the engineers, the doctors, the teachers, the managements professionals etc. The onus of preparing such professionals is on the society itself.

It is in this direction the Institute of Technology Korba Society, has made its first step by laying the foundations of Institute of Technology, Korba in industrial hub-Korba.

Korba has a crown with many jewels. It houses the industrial units like NTPC, CSEB, BALCO, SECL etc; gesturing the ample opportunities- the students would have.

It would be no exaggeration to say that the present scenario is such where technology advances within seconds. Really it is a big challenge to cater to the manpower needs of the industries. I am sanguine that Institute of Technology, Korba would successfully take up this challenge and also fulfill the long cherished dream of the people of Korba to have an engineering college in this district.
